New Horizon: About Me

My name is Chris and my mission is to help people GLOBALLY to achieve a COMFORTABLE and SUCCESSFUL life through my writings, blog, and seminars. I would also like to encourage people to follow and live by "The Five Measurements of Wealth and Success", namely Spiritually, Psychologically, Emotionally, Physically, and Financially.

I came from a hard-working, middle-class family. At the age of 14, I migrated to the United States with my mother and brother. I worked myself through college, but dropped out because of financial issues. In spite of adversities in my life, I still managed to climb up the corporate ladder working for a Fortune 500 company, through PATIENCE, HARD WORK, DETERMINATION, and PERSEVERANCE. My drive and passion for business and success served as catalysts for me to leave my high corporate life in 2005 to pursue my lifetime dream to become an entrepreneur. Since then, I managed to successfully start and operate several businesses in the U.S. and the Philippines.

* 1976 - Born in Sta. Maria Bulacan, Philippines

* 1989 - Graduated Primary School from Aurora A. Quezon Elementary School (San Andres Malate, Manila)

* 1991 - Migrated to the United States with my mother and my older brother for better opportunities. Prior to going to the U.S., I attended 2 years of High School in Malate Catholic School (Malate, Manila)

* 1991 to 1992 - Attended 1 year of High School in the United States (Walt Whitman High School, Bethesda, Maryland USA)

* 1992 - In my aspiration to expedite my schooling, I dropped out of High School so I can take the GED (High School Equivalency) Exam in the U.S. I took the exam and passed it with flying colors.

* 1992 to 2005 - In my professional career, I worked in various industries in the U.S. (Retail Supermarket, Banking, Restaurant, and Logistics) and held several positions, from entry level to executive level. I was also going to school part-time, taking classes and certifications in Information Technology. During these years, I also started a few home based businesses, but unfortunately with no success.

* 2005 - I resigned from my high corporate job in a Fortune 500 company to fulfill my life-long dream of becoming an entrepreneur.

* 2006 - I started "ViaDocs", a Document Research Company in the U.S. ViaDocs is my first successful company that I established, with having a first year annual revenue of USD $175K and now in its 6th year in operation.

* 2007 - I started "Excellerium Consulting", a Business Consulting Company in the U.S. I registered the name "Excellerium" with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and acquired my certification as the legal and rightful registered owner of the Trademark Name "Excellerium". Excellerium Consulting is now in its 5th year in operation.

* 2010 - I started "CJ's Agri Products Distribution", a buy-and-sell company of agricultural products for consumers in the Philippines. CJ's Agri Products Distribution is now in its 2nd year in operation.

* 2011 - In January, I expanded "Excellerium Consulting" and registered the company in the Philippines.

* 2011 - In June, I authored and published my very first book "Outsource Yourself!", which is available at Fully Booked, Central Books, Goodwill, and Popular Book Stores in Metro Manila.

* 2011 - In August, "Excellerium Consulting" was an exhibitor at the 1st Philippine Home Based Business and Career Summit Expo. The company’s services and my book “Outsource Yourself!” were profiled.

* 2011 - On September 2nd, “Outsource Yourself!” had its book launch at Fully Booked Bookstore in their Bonifacio Global City Branch.

* 2011 - On September 7th, I had my TV Interview with Ria Trillo on ANC’s “Shop Talk” Show to discuss my book “Outsource Yourself!”.

* 2011 - On September 23rd, "Excellerium Consulting" was an exhibitor at the YES (Young Entrepreneurs Summit) Expo. The company’s services and my book “Outsource Yourself!” were profiled.

* 2011 - On October 28th, I held a FREE SEMINAR for the students at the AMA University in Mandaluyong City to discuss my book “Outsource Yourself!”.

* 2011 - On December 17th, I had my Radio Interview with Charmaine Cruz on DZMM’s “Radyo Negosyo” Radio Talk Show to discuss home based business opportunities.
